Yun-ting started making miniature gardens a few years ago. In 2009, she had the opportunity to visit orchid nurseries in Taiwan and was inspired to create the miniature orchid series, based on different varieties of the flower. She was fascinated by the orchids' mysterious and delicate character, which she captured through unpainted modeling clay. The theme behind this artwork is to encourage more people to create gardens with their own imagination.
